Should I knock my house down, or renovate?
It depends on the extent of the renovation. If you can achieve what you want to within the existing footprint of your home, then you may be able to renovate the existing part and add an extension or extra level. However if your ideas are going to be difficult to achieve within your existing footprint, then it will be easier and more cost effective to knock down your existing home and start again. We will work with you to determine which option is best for your situation.

Do I have to move out during the extension process?
It depends on the extent of the renovation. If we are adding a second storey, or renovating the kitchen and bathrooms, then life can become quite difficult! We appreciate that for cost reasons you would like to stay at home if possible, so will work with you to find a solution that works.

I'm worried about the security of my home while I'm not there, what measures do you take?
Smart Choice Homes only use sub-trades and contractors that we trust 100%. We ensure that the site is secured at the end of each day, and have never had any issues with security or theft to date.
